about

I have worked with animals professionally and personally for many years. From taking care of family pets and working at a local doggy daycare, working and volunteering at local shelters and rescues, and owning a petsitting/dog walking business, I am dedicated to and passionate about dogs and improving their lives. During my time spent working at the local shelter I saw first hand the large number of pets that are surrendered and returned due to behavior issues. At the same time I also adopted a 3 year old deaf bully breed named Butter and quickly found his extreme reactivity and anxiety to be overwhelming. His reactivity was so bad that simple tasks, such as taking him outside for a potty break, always seemed to be a disastrous experience.

I always knew I belonged in the animal care industry, but Butter’s behavior issues led me down a path that ultimately changed my life and career trajectory forever. My focus became learning and absorbing as much information as I could to best help him. Over the years I have gone from a client, to an apprentice, to head trainer for a local dog training company, to owner of my own business. Butter has since passed away, but his legacy lives on in each client I work with. For those of you who are struggling with your dog, I have been in your shoes. My goal is to help clients see real and lasting change, and to help dogs live happy, fulfilled lives in harmony with their owners.

My husband, Jake, and I live in the Omaha area with our two dogs, Zero and Nova, as well as our three cats, Jack, Sammy and Pepo.
